Description:
The AR Specialist is responsible for applying ACH and Lockbox cash receipts, performing AR collections and recovering invalid reductions.
The Specialist also identifies customer claims by obtaining proper supporting documentation, and researches and validates customer deductions/chargebacks and appropriately codes to the correct GL.
Qualifications:
- One – two years experience AR preferably in a manufacturing/wholesale environment
- General knowledge of basic accounting functions, preferably in a manufacturing/wholesale environment
- Deadline oriented
- Advanced excel knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through on assigned tasks
