Description:
The Demand Planner at AHP provides the demand trend analysis and information to the organization to drive demand forecasting, S&OP, SKU analysis and inventory management.
The Demand Planner's responsibilities include gathering, compiling, integrating, analyzing and presenting sales and order trend information. The position works closely with the Sales team and Customers to generate the Demand Forecast.
This person also leads the ES&OP Market Review for their customers and product lines to feed the Demand Review Meeting of the ES&OP.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in sales analysis and / or demand planning within a medium to large size Consumer Packaged Goods Company (CPG) and/or retailer, mass merchandiser
- Direct Experience working for or with a major retailer, i.e.: Wal-Mart, Kroger, Walgreens, Target
- BS degree in a related academic field (statistics, math, business)
- Expert level competency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel
- Direct experience with high-level use and/or implementation of Top-Tier ERP/Forecasting system involving sales analytics (i.e. PeopleSoft, Logility, SAP, Manhattan)
- Proven understanding of forecasting techniques and metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very strong analytical and organizational skills
- Wal-Mart Retail Link – working experience, SCM-Customer Service experience and Walgreens Supplier Net/ Agentrix for Walgreens CPFR preferred
