Description:
The Product Cost Analyst is responsible for the set up of new items in PeopleSoft; maintenance of the raw materials and finished goods database; preparing the quarterly updates of standard and the building of BOMs.
The analyst generates weekly and monthly reports for accounting including weekly inventory by business unit, weekly flash reports, monthly inventory monitor reports, monthly gross margin and monthly net margin by customer.
The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, to work well under pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Strong manufacturing costing knowledge regarding maintaining items, Bill of Materials, and performing other cost related tasks.
- Must be self directed, self-motivated, proactive to problem solving, and a team player.
- Strong computer skills, particularly Excel spreadsheet function, including pivot tables.
- College degree required. Accounting degree preferred.
- Experience with Peoplesoft is preferred.
